Depending on the procedure, we use local anesthesia, sedation (MAC), or general anesthesia.

• • Relatively simpler procedures such as eye surgery use local anesthesia plus sedation.

A board-certified anesthesiologist is present throughout the procedure, monitoring vital signs in real time.

Pre-op blood tests, ECG, and other screening confirm safety before surgery begins — you can rest assured.

Once anesthesia takes effect, you will not feel any pain at all. With sedation, you simply wake up to find the surgery already finished — there is no discomfort during the procedure itself.

There is individual variation, but pain is typically well managed with prescribed analgesics.

For facelift, most patients report only a tight sensation, which improves significantly after 2–3 days. Severe pain is very rare.

The most appropriate method is chosen based on the surgical scope and expected duration.

Transient nausea or dizziness can occur but typically resolves naturally within a few hours.

Pre-op testing and collaboration with internal medicine are used to confirm whether surgery can proceed safely. Patient safety always comes first — we will never push through a procedure that is not safe.
